Our teams primary goal, is to obtain as much information as possible shortly after the person is missing (preferably within 48 hours). 

What are Missing Persons Investigations? 

On average, more than 800,000 people are reported as missing and are entered into FBI's National Crime Information Center (NCIC) annually. Of these, 85%-90% are minors. These statistics do not include those who are unofficially missing such as those who have not been reported as missing persons. 

One of the big problems with police-led missing person searches is simply that the term missing persons is so narrow. Police will only begin looking for a missing child at a specific amount of time after the child was last seen and by that time, it may be too late if the child has been kidnapped by a pedophile or child killer.  

Police are also reluctant, due to thinning resources, to search for people who voluntarily left home or for those who live on the streets. Even in a police-led missing person search, police will stop looking after a certain amount of time and will declare the case a cold case. 

Police do their best with the resources they have, but law enforcement simply is not equipped to deal with the crime rates today.

Missing Link Investigations "Reduced fee" Policy. Our Missing Link Investigations team will quickly evaluate your matter and provide a quick response related to what the next step will be. 

The Missing Link Investigations team is funded by reduced fees to the client and donations. 

A startup fee will likely be requested to cover the cost of data base and other expenses; and to include the reduced fee labor retainer. We can delay the reduced fee labor retainer if needed.

If a monetary award is available and offered to PI Com - Missing Link Investigatons, we would consider all or part of it. 

Cooperation is imperative! Our client interviews are intense. Our policy is to get all information, including details you might not want to provide. 

The Investigation - other

Due to potentially high and sensitive emotions, we might request to speak to a person other than the immediate family that can give us the information we require to locate the missing person. 

However, we will need to speak directly to all persons that know the missing person and all persons with knowledge of who, what, when, where and why the person is missing. 

The information you provide is confidential to PI Com detectives, and not released to law enforcement, the media, or any other person(s) unless the client provides written permission to do so. 

Missing Link Investigations DBA PI Com Investigations will likely find the missing person if law enforcement, rescue and other agiencies, and the client fully 100% cooperates with us. 

We could stop the investigation for lack of cooperation, or interference, etc., by any 

person(s) or entity. 

- Our guidelines, procedures and processes on how we obtain information is confidential.

- A basic locate Investigation is fee based, and not considered a missing person   

   investigation.
